Garden Design: Mendip Hills, Somerset

Creation of a new formal garden with terraces, two enclosed garden rooms, extensive borders of mixed herbaceous and shrub planting, a herb garden, kitchen garden, a new grass tennis court and a parkland landscape, all with wonderful views over the Chew Valley Lake. The design incorporates a new swimming pool building, new garage, outbuildings and drive. A 3m high motte with spiral path was created to use the spoil arising from the construction work.
