Town Centre Regeneration/Urban Design: Redditch Town Centre

We were commissioned by Redditch Borough Council and St Stephen’s Church in December 2009 to prepare outline proposals for the enhancement of Redditch Town Centre. The project includes the central Church Green, town hall square, the train station and link roads in between.

Our scheme draws on Redditch’s industrial past as the world’s leading producer of needles, springs and hooks, and aims to creates high quality civic spaces, with a view to stimulating the regeneration of Redditch. The scheme has been prepared in close collaboration with RRA Architects who were commissioned by St Stephen’s Church to re-order the church and introduce new retail, office, meeting and cafe spaces within the church.

The proposals are currently out for consultation.
